An online survey for health professionals on healthy recovery from COVID-19
The WHO is urging global health professionals to participate in a brief survey of their country’s – and the world’s – efforts to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and other public health emergencies.
This research is being conducted by George Mason University on behalf of the World Health Organization and Civil Society Working Group on Climate Change and Health and will report to the working group on their work on a healthy recovery from COVID-19.
The survey can be taken , Participation in the survey should last a maximum of 3 minutes.
About the survey
Much of the world is currently experiencing both a public health crisis and an economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many nations are reacting as economic recovery packages. What will happen to my answers?
Some health professionals suggest that COVID-19 economic recovery packages should be a “healthier recovery” (where the nation seeks to become healthier and more resilient) rather than a “return to normal” (as things were before the pandemic). In addition to strengthening health systems, this would include producing much cleaner renewable energy, embracing a sustainable agricultural and food system, and helping cities prioritize pedestrians, cyclists, and public transportation by car to improve people’s health and quality of life.
What will happen to my answers?
The submissions in this study are anonymous and will be used to inform the WHO Working Group on Climate Change and Health on Health Community Priorities, as well as to inform George Mason University in its study on effective communication of interconnections between climate change and human health. .
