Fariel Salahuddin is not the kind of person you would expect to see walking around rural Pakistan, especially with a herd of goats. He is a successful energy consultant who has worked all over the world. When he returned to where he grew up in Pakistan, Fariel decided he wanted to work on smaller projects that would have an immediate impact and provide solar energy to poor rural communities. It was very good because these places had no water, even power. What they did was goats. Fariel developed an innovative scheme to provide the villages with something they needed for the enemy: market goats. But what would Fariel do with all the goats in his new cat?
