Former President George W. Bush is in tears. Bush, at a state funeral in Washington.
The 43rd President said that his father, the 41st President, had taught him how to direct.
“He has shown himself to be a fully serving president, he acts with courage and he acts with love in his heart for the people of our country,” Bush said. “When history books are written they will say that George H.W. Bush was the great president of the United States.”
Bush’s eulogy ended on a moving note. At the end of his remarks, he added through tears, “Your decency, honesty, and kind soul will remain with us forever. So through our tears, let us know and love the blessings of you, the greatest and noblest man. The son of the best father. Or could have daughters.”
