10 million antibody tests to be available in the UK says Health Secretary Coronabirusa

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said the government has secured an agreement with Roche and Abbott to produce 10 million antibody tests in the coming months. (Name:

Antibody tests, which show that someone has had or may have had the virus, will first be given to NHS and care staff, as well as patients.

Hancock added that 5% of people in the UK – including 17% in London – could have coronaviruses, based on a sample of antibody tests.

The Health Secretary, Professor Chris Whitty and Professor John Newtown, are coordinating the tests being carried out in the UK.
