Balochistan CM approves funds for education and other projects – Pakistan

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizingo has approved an additional Rs 2 billion for the Balochistan Regional Public Endowment Fund and Balochistan Education Fund. He also announced the remission of prisoners for two months.

And official sources said, on Saturday, that the Prime Minister directed the transfer of powers to the minimum level to pay medical benefits to government employees.

Mr. Bizingo directed immediate steps to rehabilitate the Harnai earthquake victims and requested a report on the steps taken so far. He added that the government should speed up the process of disbursing the rehabilitation funds for those affected by the earthquake.

The sources said that directives were also issued to increase the number of seats in educational institutions in other provinces for students belonging to Balochistan.
