Amphan: Cyclones shaking India and Bangladesh – BBC News
The powerful Indian city of Kolkata has been devastated by a powerful cyclone, killing at least 84 people around India and Bangladesh.
Amphhan made a landslide on Wednesday, shaking coastal areas with strong winds and rain. The storm is weakening as it moves north into Bhutan.
Thousands of trees were uprooted, electricity and telephone lines were downed and houses were leveled.
Many of Kolkata’s roads are flooded and its 14 million people are powerless.
