The blind painter Sargy Mann: painting with an inner view – BBC News

Sargy Mann has painted throughout her life, first as a teacher and then as a professional artist. In the mid-30s he developed cataracts in both eyes, which eventually led to complete blindness. He continued to paint. 25 years later, Sargy’s work is highly sought after by collectors, who regularly sell it for £ 50,000 ($ 80,000).
He spoke to BBC News about his life and how he is doing.
