Brexit party leader in the face of Nigel Farage’s exit election.

The Brexit party is not expected to win seats tonight, but party leader Nigel Farage told the BBC’s Andrew Neil: “If we get Brexit, we have done a good job.”

However, he added that if Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal is not changed, “I can’t afford to protect myself.”

He believes the EU will bring about a closer relationship than he wanted.

“My goal was to try to get the right kind of Brexit – if we get half the bread out – that’s what we achieved,” he noted.

Asked if he is moving away from politics now, he said: “Let’s see where we are in six months – we may have to throw the cap back into the ring.”

He said in his own vote that he could not take himself to help the Conservatives, so he ruined the ballot paper.

“I voted under this system“ it doesn’t matter, ”he added in the first-place attack.

The works would get 191, Lib Dems 13, the Brexit party and SNP 55.

The Green Party will still have one MP and Plaid Cymru will lose one seat in all three, according to the poll.

The results of the first general election are before midnight, as the final number is expected to be known for lunch on Friday.
