People reported feeling a ‘quake’ quake in the north of the county.

Nottinghamshire residents took to social media to ask about the tremors they experienced across the north of the county on November 17.

This followed reports of a possible “earthquake” near York yesterday (November 17), as reported by Grimsby Live.

Volcana Discovery provided details of an “unconfirmed” or “seismic-like event” earthquake in North Yorkshire, 32 kilometers northeast of York, on Wednesday.

“We are receiving unverified early reports of ground shaking that may have been caused by seismic activity in or near York (England), England, UK on November 17, 2021 (GMT) at approximately 15.48,” she said on Thursday.

He adds, “There are no details yet on the size or depth of this potential earthquake. If confirmed, we can expect more accurate data to appear in the next few minutes.”

According to the site, there have been more than 800 reports of “earthquake” across the country.

One woman posted on Twitter shortly after 4pm: “Was that an earthquake in North Notes?!”

While a man was on Twitter: “I felt this for 5 seconds in Nottingham. I was convinced it was an earthquake.”
