Earthquake hits central Texas, 4.3 magnitude earthquake shakes Lone Star residents

A 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Midland, Texas, on Monday, shaking the land of the Lone Star State.

The earthquake reached a depth of 5 km and was recorded after 7:55 pm.

The quake was reportedly felt by residents of Stanton, Odessa and San Angelo as well.

Unlike other states, Texas is not known for earthquakes, which has left many shocked by what happened.

One user wrote: “Big earthquake? 4.3 here in Texas. We don’t do that often.”

Another user commented that the earthquake “rattled the house and shook the windows”.

So far, there have been no reports of damage caused by the earthquake.
