22 people injured in Qatar and China earthquake

At least 22 people were injured in a 5.5-magnitude earthquake that struck Ninglang County, southwest China’s Yunnan Province, on Sunday, local authorities said.

Chinese media reported that search and rescue teams were sent to the epicenter of the earthquake, which measured 5.5 on the Richter scale and struck at a depth of 10 km.

At least two people were killed and three others injured after a 6.0-magnitude earthquake rocked Luxian County, Luzhou City, southwest China’s Sichuan Province, last September in 2021.
