Jason Resendez, a graduate of Alice High School, has made great strides as a voice and advocate for the Hispanic population in Washington, DC.

Resendez, who graduated from Alice High School in 2004, moved to Washington DC in 2014 to pursue a graduate degree at Georgetown University. He has advanced professionally as the leading voice and advocate of aging and minority Latinos in Washington, D.C.

His work led researchers, policy makers, industry leaders and community organizations to develop research and policy solutions to address the disparities in Alzheimer’s and the social disparities that affect Latin society.

His accomplishments included founding and serving as CEO of the Latin Union Against Alzheimer’s Disease, which we held against Alzheimer’s.
