German prisoner identified as the alleged patient in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann – BBC News

A new suspect has been identified as a German prisoner for the disappearance of Madeleine McCann from a Portuguese holiday resort.

The 40-year-old man is a sex offender who lived in the Algarve in his day, riding in a motorhome.

German detectives have filed a televised appeal for more information. Madeleine McCann was three years old when she disappeared from Praia da Luz in 2007.
