An earthquake measuring 6.0 off the NTB coast struck tremors in Bali

A 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) last night, and tremors were felt in parts of Bali, including Kuta and Denpasar. There were no immediate reports of damage or serious injuries.

The epicenter was 132 km northwest of Saringe Island, a small island off the coast of NTB. It struck at a depth of 664 km at 11:54 pm, according to a tweet published by the Meteorological, Climate and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) in Indonesia shortly after the earthquake.

According to BMKG, tremors were felt in several parts of NTB, including Mataram, West Lombok and West Sumbawa. While in Bali, I felt tremors in Kuta and Denpasar. The agency did not issue any tsunami warning.

There were no reports of damage or injuries in the aftermath of the earthquake this morning.
