A 4.1-magnitude earthquake hits Uttarkashi in the early hours of the day

The National Center of Seismology said a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck the Uttarakshi district in the state of Uttarakhand in the early hours of the day. The earthquake occurred at approximately 5:03 a.m.

“Earthquake magnitude: 4.1, occurred on 02-12-2022, 05:03:34 IST, latitude: 30.72 and long: 78.85, depth: 28 km, location: 39 km east of Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand,” the NCS said.

There were no reports of damage or losses.
