The doorbell’s camera caught the clear rumble of an earthquake that struck the West Midlands last night.

The quake struck on the evening of February 21, and residents of Birmingham and Wolverhampton also felt the quake.

It struck just before 11 pm on Monday and the impacts were felt 20 kilometers away, Birmingham Live reports.

Some people along the way in Coventry, Lichfield and Sutton Coldfield have also recorded effects.

The earthquake measured 2.8 on the scale, according to experts.

Scott Edwards of Reach PLC told us: “At first I thought a big wind was hitting the house, and I got used to that this week, but then the roar of the entire building shook.

“Neither car alarms nor house alarms went off – so I checked the camera and heard the noise, before I saw people on social media around the area had experienced the same thing.”

“Then I saw that the Geological Survey had reported a small earthquake,” he added. On Twitter, others were reacting.
