Tori Amos Announces Graphic Novel Little Earthquakes With Margaret Atwood, Neil Gaiman, More

Tori Amos’ debut album Little Earthquakes celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this year and is being celebrated with an official graphic novel. Publisher Z2 Comics has teamed up with Amos to put together a book of 24 stories inspired by the album of such writers as Neil Gaiman (who tells a story about “Tear In Your Hand”) and Margaret Atwood (who writes for “Silent All This Years”). Artwork created by Bilquis Evely, David Mack, and more.Other contributors include Lea Moore, Colin Doran, Derek McCulloch, Lar D’Souza, Annie Zaleski, Marc Andreco, Kat Mihos, Neil Clyde, and Alison Sampson.

“Having some of the most creative graphic artists translating Little Earthquakes songs is a true honor,” Amos said in a statement. “I enjoyed working with Rantz on Comic Book Tattoo so much that when he called me about putting together something for my 30th anniversary, I didn’t hesitate. Artwork is such an important part of my musical world, and it’s a pleasure to see these songs come to life in graphic form.”

The Little Earthquakes graphic novel will be available in bookstores in September. There is also a limited edition deluxe and platinum edition, which will include a set of Little Earthquakes B sides as well as some art prints.
