The earthquake was felt in Mindoro in Manila, Philippines

Did you feel the vibration? If yes, let us know using the I FELT IT form behind the earthquake or at the bottom of this page.

14:06 UTCPhivolcs Manually update the earthquake to a strength of 5.1 and a depth of 15 km. This does not lead to major changes in the density calculation. We still expect the sixth intensity, and thus slight damage (cracks in the walls, etc.) in cities near the epicenter as you can see on the ShakeMap map below. According to Phivolcs, the earthquake felt strong 4 in San Jose on the southern end of Mindoro.

A shallow and moderate earthquake struck the island of Mindoro Friday evening. According to preliminary Phivolcs data, this 5.0 earthquake occurred in the central part of the island. I felt a slight tremor until northern Manila and other parts of Luzon, due to the shallow earthquake – Report.com predicts a somewhat high intensity which means that damage is possible in the cities and villages near the epicenter.

The city / village where you felt the earthquake * Umm Dahiya Street (area) where you felt the earthquake, latitude (area), where you felt the earthquake, longitude (area), where you felt the earthquake, vibration strength * MMI II (very weak vibration)?

People: People feel it in a state of rest, on the upper floors, or in an appropriate position.

MMI III (weak vibration)?

People: I felt inside; Hanging objects may oscillate, vibration similar to the passage of light trucks, duration may be estimated, may not be recognized as an earthquake.

MMI IV (slight vibration)?

People: It is generally observed inside but not outside. Light beams may wake up. Vibration can be likened to heavy traffic, or a shake of a heavy object that strikes or hits a building. Glassware and crockery. Fluids in open vessels may be a little uncomfortable. Cars may rock standing. Structures: The walls and frames of buildings, partitions and suspended ceilings in commercial buildings can be heard from the squeak.

MMI V (moderate vibration)?

People: Generally they feel outside, and almost everyone is inside. Most of the sleepers woke up. Few people annoyed. Equipment: unstable little things homeless or upset. Some glassware and crockery may be broken. The hanging pictures touched the wall. Open doors may swing. Locker doors secured by magnetic catch may open. Hours of the pendulum stop, start or change the rate. Structures: Some large display windows are cracked. A few toilet fittings cracked from pottery.

MMI VI (strong vibration)?

People
Everyone felt. Annoyed people and animals. Many run outside. Difficulty walking steadily: objects fall off the shelves. Pictures fall off the walls. Some furniture moved on soft floors, and some unsecured independent cookers moved. Broken glassware and crockery. The furniture is very unstable. Small church and school bells ring. The devices move on the bench or table tops. File cabinets or “easy slip” drawers may open (or close). Structures: minor damage to low level buildings. Some plaster or cement and plaster fall. Large display windows broken. Some weak household chimneys are damaged, some of them may fall off. The environment: trees and shrubs vibrate, or a rustle can be heard. Loose materials may be ejected from sloping ground, such as existing slats, talus slopes, slabs of slabs.

Seventh MMI (very strong vibration)?

General warning. Difficulty standing up. Noticed by motorists who may stop. Equipment: large bells ring. Furniture moves on soft floors, may move on carpeted floors. Significant damage to the contents of the fragile buildings. Structures: Stone walls and unreinforced brick are cracked. Low level buildings cracked with some minor building waterfalls. Few cases of damage to buildings of ordinary workmanship. Unblocked barriers, unblocked brick trusses, and architectural decorations fall off. Tiles, especially hills may be flushed out. Many unarmed household chimneys were damaged, often falling from the ceiling line. Type I water tanks burst. Few cases of brick veneer and plaster or cement liners. Unrestricted water cylinders (hot water cylinders) may move and leak. Some common windows cracked. Damaged suspended ceilings. Environment: Water that makes turbid by moving the mud. Small slices like waterfalls of sand and gravel, small rocky falls from cliffs and steep seedlings. Cases of sedimentation of loose, wet or weak soils. Some fine cracks appear in the sloping ground. A few cases of liquefaction (i.e., small water and sand).

Eighth MMI (severe vibration)?

People
The alarm may come close to panic. Car steering has been greatly affected.

Structures:
Low-rise buildings were badly damaged, some of which collapsed. Regular workmanship buildings were damaged, some with partial collapse. Reinforced concrete buildings or concrete buildings were damaged in some cases. Few cases of damage to buildings and bridges designed and built to resist earthquakes. High traces and reservoirs before 1976 and factory piles twisted or destroyed. Some building panels were damaged before 1965. Some brick veneer was damaged after 1980. The piles of wood from houses were damaged. Unsecured homes may not move to institutions. Most of the unsupported local chimneys were damaged, some under the roof line, many of which fell.

Environment :
Cracks appear on steep slopes and wet ground. Small to medium slices in roadside scraps and unsupported fossils. Small shells of water, sand, and local lateral spread adjacent to streams, canals, lakes, etc.

MMI IX (violent vibration)?

Structures
Many low-level buildings were destroyed. The buildings of ordinary workmanship were severely damaged, and some of them collapsed. Reinforced concrete buildings or concrete buildings, some of them with partial collapse, were damaged. Bridges and construction are designed and built to resist damaged earthquakes in some cases, some of them with severely damaged flexible tires. Permanent damage or deformation of some buildings and bridges, designed and built according to normal use standards. Unsecured homes turned into institutions. Brick veneers fall and expose frames.

Environment :
Clear ground crushing. General slip on steep slopes. The liquefaction effects have intensified and spread, with a large lateral spread and flow sliding near streams, canals, lakes, etc.

For more info and free online quotes, please visit https://compare-autoinsurance.Org/the-advantages-of-comparing-prices-with-car-insurance-quotes-online/ The modern society has numerous technological advantages. One important advantage is the speed at which information is sent and received. With the help of the internet, the shopping habits of many persons have drastically changed. The car insurance industry hasn't remained untouched by these changes. On the internet, drivers can compare insurance prices and find out which sellers have the best offers. View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price. Using brokerage websites will allow drivers to get quotes from multiple insurers, thus making the comparison faster and easier.
