When I see the neighbors walking in the “hood,” I feel a renewed spring in our steps – the change of season brings passion to an extended life in the world. How can we use this renewed vitality not only to lift our spirits but also to elevate our readiness for the next turmoil of our “normal” life?

While we all need a break and something fun to focus on in our lives, thank God the emergency preparedness offices in our city and state are working hard. What is an all-risk mitigation plan?

The HMP is a comprehensive document containing detailed information about the types of risks we face and actions we can take before disasters strike to reduce our vulnerability.

The Building Management Plan addresses six types of risks:
