Earthquakes target more locations in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 was filled with dangerous weather and natural disasters, but one of the lesser known events is getting more intense now. Earthquakes have hit Fortnite over the past few weeks, bringing the season to an end.

At the time, a handful of buildings were sucked into the ground, making huge holes. As a result, what first started with some light tremors outside Covert Cavern has evolved into a map-altering event. As the earthquakes continue, players are left waiting to see what locations will be claimed next.

Since the last earthquake report in Fortnite on March 7th, two new buildings have been destroyed. A YouTuber showed the red house outside Tilted Towers and the cafe to vibrate the day before they left completely off the map, just like another building.

These losses have been tracked by the YouTube channel EveryDay FN, which publishes daily updates on these events. Below is a video showing the earthquake in the yellow house before the earthquake continued.

Two days after the above video was posted, another website was destroyed. After hitting the yellow house, the tremors approached the base of the seven. The YouTuber speculated that the rule was going to be close to falling, but there was no evidence until that happened. The video cleared all doubt as the players looked at the giant crater.

As anyone could see, the Base Seven had completely disappeared from the map, leaving behind all of its loot. On top of infuriating The Seven, this doesn’t seem to be the last stop for the earthquakes. Earthquakes devastated the base on March 13, and the next day, shock waves were crashing toward Cuddle’s camp.

Standing on top of a building in Camp Cuddle, players can see all the tremors from the earthquake around them. They haven’t made it to the camp yet but they surely will in the coming days. EveryDay also notes that this earthquake appears to be stronger than the one they have tracked in the past.

If this earthquake follows the same previous trends, it could probably take a day or two for any noticeable changes to come to Camp Cuddle. He can also bypass the monument without major changes, as happened with the yellow house and the skeleton.

One thing is for sure, though. As players head towards the end of Fortnite Chapter Three, Season 1, it appears that The Imagined System and The Seven may be up to something behind the scenes.
