4 earthquakes reported in Elgin

Four earthquakes were reported Monday in or near Elgin, South Carolina. The first was reported around 1:30 a.m. in Elgin. The US Geological Survey said the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.29. As of 9 a.m., more than 4,300 people had responded to the question “Have you felt it?” Question on the USGS website. The second was reported at 4:39 a.m. in Elgin and had a magnitude of 1.6. The third earthquake was reported around 5:10 am, also in Elgin. Record it at 1.79 degrees. The fourth earthquake was reported at 6:05 p.m., about 3 miles east of Elgin, and registered a magnitude of 2.1, and Got Daddy’s Farm in Elgin posted the following damage on Facebook.
