In April, WFP provided emergency assistance (food or cash) to 114,010 people (22,802 families) and distributed 128 metric tons across six provinces (Grand Anse, Nippes, North, South and Southeast provinces). The World Food Program has completed the earthquake response in two of the three provinces, with an overall completion rate of 91 percent worth $7.9 million and 1,405 metric tons distributed since August 14.

WFP in Haiti is developing a strategy to implement a systematic response to urban displacements, including gang violence, expected in May. This comes at a time when gang violence is on the rise in the metropolitan area of ​​Port-au-Prince.
