Magnitude 3.8 earthquake strikes British county

Britain’s Shropshire county was hit by a 3.8-magnitude earthquake, the third to hit the country in less than 24 hours.

The British Geological Survey said the quake struck just east of the town of Wim at a depth of seven kilometers at 2.36 pm on Monday.

West Mercia Police and the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service have notified the PA that they have not been called in for any reports of earthquake-related incidents.
