In Scotland, the government has announced that all school children will be in classrooms from mid-August onwards full-time while cases of crown viruses continue to fall. Scottish ministers planned to implement so-called “mixed learning”, combining teaching at school and at home, but some parents said it would be difficult for them to return to work.
