The 2-meter rule will be replaced in July with some security measures – BBC News
The government has made it clear in early July to change or suspend the 2-meter distance rule in England. The rule is intended to allow people to pass on coronavirus infection. Health Secretary Matt Hancock said any changes would be accompanied by safety measures. Meanwhile, the German coronavirus infection rate (or R number) has risen significantly. The growth has been caused by some local brushes, especially in northwestern Germany, where more than 1,000 people have been positive at meat processing facilities. And India is struggling to fight the fourth-largest number of coronavirus cases: more than 400,000 infections and more than 13,000 deaths. However, Indian health workers have told the BBC that more people have been killed than recorded in official figures.
