Project Paragold hosted a group party with a touch

Paragold, Ship (KAIT) – A full day full of live music and free cotton candy, all while learning some valuable information.

Project Paragold brought back the famous earthquake festival. The festival had vendors, local entertainment, and food trucks while discussing important information about natural disasters.

“Last year the Paragold Project had a party downtown, which is much smaller than it is now,” said Nate Archibald, event director.

Archibald wanted to grow the Bloc party while putting an educational development on it.

The Paragold Project is a non-profit organization, so the festival was funded by the City of Paragold and from outside donations by local businesses. Therefore, this is all 100% funded by the citizens.

“Not only is the festival itself, but it’s also information on earthquakes, hurricanes and natural disasters, what we can do to prepare them for that, and who will respond after that,” Archibald said.

This event is a fun way for people to learn how to prepare for a natural disaster.
