Laguna Beach approves 2020-21 budget updates, and changes in granting community assistance

Laguna Beach City Council unanimously approved updates to its budget for fiscal year 2020-21, which started on July 1 – the second year of an already approved two-year budget passed in 2019.

The city initially expected a $ 12 million loss in revenue in April.

The updates include adjustments to the city’s capital equipment budget and determination of city employees ’salaries for the coming year.
