US buys essential drug supply for coronavirus – BBC News

The United States has reached an agreement to buy a supply of a well-known drug worldwide to help it recover from Covid-19. In medicines made in the UK and elsewhere, it has been found that medicine – Remdesivir – reduces the time spent in seriously ill hospitals.
