In India, there is great anger over the death of a father and son in police custody in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Relatives say the men, who were Christians, were beaten and tortured after their arrest, and accused of violating an established rumor of a coronavirus pandemic. Allegations of police brutality against minorities are not new, but after George Floyd’s death in America, some Indians say it’s time to take a stand.
