Sunday’s 6.8 magnitude earthquake ‘major shock’: CWB

TAIPEI, Sept. 18 (CNA) The Central Meteorological Bureau (CWB) identified the 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struck southeastern Taiwan’s Taitung County on Sunday as a “major shock”, with a magnitude of 6.4 on Saturday and 70 earlier recorded. . Aftershocks, now reclassified as foreboding tremors.
