Salinas, Marcinkowski help the Earthquakes beat Minnesota United

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA (AP) – JT Marcinkowski saved twice as Shea Salinas scored in the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 win over Minnesota United on Saturday.

Salinas put Earthquakes (8-15-10) ahead with a 1-0 lead in the 52nd minute.

Seismic also scored one goal from Benjamin Kikanovic.

Earthquakes beat United (13-14-6) 18-15, with six shots on goal, against two for United.

Marcinkowski saved both strikes he faced in the earthquakes. Dane St Clair saved four of the six hits he faced for United.

These teams take to the field again on Sunday, with the Earthquakes visiting the Seattle Sounders while United host the Vancouver Whitecaps.
