Viewers were amazed that they were able to catch the serpentine monster, which is rarely seen because it resides at depths between 656 and 3,200 feet below the surface of the ocean. However, many have commented that seeing a paddlefish means an earthquake is on the horizon.

“The earthquake is coming,” declared one killer, while another wrote, “We will all die!”

“You don’t have to believe me, but in Chile these fish are considered a sign of a bad omen,” said one of the appalled chairs.

“Why don’t they put it back in the water, the poor animal is struggling to breathe,” asked one concerned citizen. “Then they complain when they have a strong earthquake.”
