Inside the Soviet base a cold war was left

It has been 30 years since the rough events of 1989, when the Berlin Wall collapsed, since the Iron Curtain was lifted and the Soviet Empire crushed.

As part of a special report on what Russia saw in 1989, Moscow correspondent Steve Rosenberg traveled to former East Germany.

Taking a peek inside Wünsdorf, the complex near Berlin contained tens of thousands of Soviet troops.
