Karnataka Stones to Make Ayodhya Sri Ram Mandir Earthquake Resistant

Stones from Shikabalapur district of Karnataka will be used to lay the foundation of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, proof of heat, water and earthquakes.

As reported by The New Indian Express, the founding stones of the much awaited Ram Mandir are sourced from Chikkaballapura district of Karnataka.

Chikkaballapur MLA and Minister of State for Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education, K Sudhakar tweeted, “Nama Chikkaballapura is blessed to be a part of the construction of the great temple at Ayodhya Rama Janmabhoomi.”

It was called “squirrel service” in the province of Sri Rama temple.

As reported, four companies from Chikkaballapur will supply stones obtained from quarries in Gukanahalli, Adigalli and Bande villages on the outskirts of the district.

Stones, as we mentioned, are resistant to heat, water and earthquakes, and they are used for the foundation because they are the most solid in the country.

The entire Ram temple complex will be earthquake resistant. To make sure it’s earthquake-resistant, the temple’s foundation is 40 feet deep. The stones brought from Chikkaballapur have been tested by subjecting them to a temperature of up to 1,500 degrees Celsius, and these stones will also be tested by subjecting them to freezing temperature for more than 24 hours, making them completely waterproof,” explained Monirago, contractor and member of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

Each granite block is 5 feet long, 3 feet thick, and 2.75 feet wide. According to the same report, geologists date the highly earthquake-resistant granite to have formed 2,500 million years ago.
