According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors were felt at 3:42 am this morning. The depth of the earthquake was 120 km underground.

It is noteworthy that within a week, strong tremors of the earthquake were felt in the whole of North India including Delhi NCR. The severe quake was felt by residents at 1:57 pm on Tuesday. Its severity has been measured to 6.3 on the Richter scale. This was followed by a 5.4-magnitude earthquake at around 7:57 pm on Saturday. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km below the surface of the earth.
