CHEMSWICK, Missouri – Residents near Kemswick, Missouri, may have felt a little shaking Tuesday night after a 2.5-magnitude earthquake was detected.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the epicenter was about two miles east of Kimmswick at about 8:30 p.m.

5 On your side Chief Meteorologist Scott Connell said the quake wasn’t strong enough to cause damage, but it’s possible that people in the area felt the shaking.

As of Wednesday morning, 208 people had reported to the USGS that they had felt the quake.
