Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has tested positive for coronavirus. He took the test on Monday, the fourth, after developing symptoms, including a high temperature. Mr Bolsonaro has repeatedly reproduced the dangers of the virus, calling it “a little bit of the flu” and said it would not cause serious harm. He also called on regional governments to ease the blockades, which have hurt the economy, and watered down regulations to wear face masks on Monday. Mr. Bolsonaro did so in a televised interview on Tuesday. He said the fever had dropped and he said he was feeling “very well”. The president said he began having symptoms on Sunday.
