TikTok has said it will leave Hong Kong after China imposed a new security law on the city. “In light of recent events, we have decided to suspend operations of the TikTok app in Hong Kong,” a BBC spokesman said. The company will come out of the city “within days,” according to Reuters news agency. Facebook and Twitter said this week that they are “pausing” cooperation with Hong Kong police around user information.
