‘Like a car hit a building’: earthquake rocks Kimberley

An earthquake was felt in Kimberley on Saturday night by locals.

The US Geological Survey said the 3.9-magnitude quake occurred 41 km from Kimberley at 8:39 p.m.

The survey released a map showing the earthquake occurred between Mount St. Mary’s and Mount Nowitka.

Locals took to Twitter soon after. It is not known if there were any injuries.

Same thing shook Kimberley Ridge Lodges at the hill. I’ve never felt one before. I figure a car hit the building or something collapsed.
