Goya Foods lifts boycott after its CEO praises Trump

The #Goyaway hashtag was trending on social media after Robert Unanue, CEO of Goya Foods, appeared on the evening at the White House Rose Garden and praised President Donald Trump. “We’re all happy … to be a constructive leader like President Trump,” Unanu said in a Rose Garden speech. “We have a great builder, and we pray. Our leadership, we pray to our president.” Unanue’s association with Trump was enough to anger some of America’s most important Hispanic leaders.
