The Turkey earthquake aid campaign has raised more than $5 billion

A new fundraising campaign for earthquake victims in Turkey has raised nearly 100 billion Turkish liras ($5.3 billion) within two hours of starting the campaign on Wednesday.

Companies, institutions, organizations and individuals made donations to the campaign named ‘Turkey One Heart’ via a joint live broadcast on 200 TV channels and 500 radio channels.
