Chicago chefs team up to raise money for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

CHICAGO (WLS) – Some Chicago chefs will help raise money for earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey.

45 chefs from across the city will be at Avli on the Park, 180 N Field Blvd. Chicago chefs cooking for earthquake relief. Each chef will prepare a small plate of one of their restaurant’s specialty dishes and attendees can stop at each stop and try a sample.

Tickets start at $125, with a VIP experience available for $225. The event runs from 5-8 pm

A month after earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, UNICEF is speaking out for disaster relief in the region

Proceeds will go to World Central Kitchen, which feeds people on the front lines of disasters.
