Doubt re-elected Polish Conservative president – BBC News
Former Polish President Andrzej Duda has narrowly defeated opponent Rafal Trzaskowski in Sunday’s presidential vote. The National Electoral Commission said Duda won 51.2% of the vote. It is the smallest victory in the presidential election since the end of Communism in 1989. One of the main issues in the elections was the future of close relations with the European Union. Doubt is a social conservative associated with the government led by the nationalist party Law and Justice (PiS), while Mr. Trzaskowski is a socially liberal mayor of Warsaw. Subscribe HERE .
