Chico — Professor Todd Green, chair of the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Chico State University, said Tuesday that he made a mistake and wants to correct it.

The book resulted from the 1995 Pacific Cell field trip, with Bill Page as the flight commander and Jeff Unruh creating the map and conducting the discussion.

The May 10 earthquake caused 28 aftershocks in and around Lake Almoner, including a 5.2-magnitude earthquake at 3:18 a.m. the next morning. But things calmed down after the series, with five very small aftershocks starting Sunday, according to the USGS website.
