Artist Marc Quinn created a sculpture of Protestant Jen Reid. In protest, Colston’s statue was lowered and thrown into the harbor of Bristol in protest. The photo of Mrs. Reid greeted the black power on the plinth and then went viral. The group installed the new sculpture in the wee hours of the morning. “I have raised my hands for George Floyd. I have raised my hands for the fact that all the people killed in the hands of the police are black.
