UK chief scientist says he should work from home, contradicts Boris Johnson – BBC News
Sir Patrick Vallance, the government’s chief scientific adviser, has told the prime minister that there is no “reason” to change the advice for those who don’t have to work from home. After Boris Johnson asked people to return to his workplace, he could do so safely. Meanwhile, local blockade restrictions in Leicester are being reduced. However, bars and restaurants remain closed.
