Coronavirus: Italy blockade – BBC News

 



Unprecedented measures are being applied to try to limit the spread of Coronaviruses throughout Italy. As the number of cases and deaths grows dramatically, isolation in Italy is increasing with thousands of canceled flights and strict controls with Austria and Slovenia. Public meetings including sporting events are prohibited and schools and universities are closed. Italians are advised to stay home. In the United Kingdom 6 people have died and the number of cases has increased to 382.
