Coronavirus: Wuhan reopens some workplaces – BBC News

The Wuhan Chinese city industry, which was set up late last year, will resume, the provincial government has reported.

The memo states that it will be permitted to return to work for producers with public transportation, medical supplies and daily necessities.

Other industries impacting national or global supply chains may also be re-started, with the permission of relevant authorities.

New infections are waning in China today and the country is tightening travel restrictions to prevent imported cases.

The latest restriction is that international arrivals to the capital city of Beijing take two weeks in quarantine, according to a city official.

Previously, this measure was only applied to people in the toughest countries outside of China [including South Korea, Iran, Italy and Japan].
