Today's Earthquake: A 3.6 magnitude earthquake hits Sioni in Madhya Pradesh
A moderate earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale struck Madhya Pradesh at 8.02 pm, news agency ANI reported on Wednesday.
The National Center for Earthquake Monitoring said: “An earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale struck the city of Seoni in the state of Madhya Pradesh at 8:02 pm today.”
The earthquake, which began at a depth of 5 kilometers, was felt throughout the region.
According to seismic data, the epicenter of the earthquake was at latitude 22.10 and longitude 73.53.
Earlier on Tuesday, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Andaman Islands.
According to data from the National Seismological Center, the earthquakes were felt at around 11:32 pm on Tuesday. The epicenter of the earthquake was determined at latitude 10.06, longitude 95.00, and a depth of 67 kilometers.
