Jeremy Corbyn on Brexit deal: 'Failure and miserable' negotiations – BBC News
Opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn said "nothing has changed" and said while the government rejects the deal it would "send the country back to square one … it's true that we never got beyond square one."
He said the agreement marks the end of "bankruptcy and miserable negotiations" and that it is "an agreement that leaves us the worst in the world", saying no to future rules and no certainty for the future. "
He said the rest of the cabinet silence is "telling" that the deal will leave the country "worse" and said the economy will be down 3.9% after the deal.
Advancing the treaty is a "national self-harm" and calls for a "plan B".
"There is," he said, "a reasonable agreement that could win the support of this Chamber" and a "strong single market agreement" that would protect rights.
